Privacy Policy
Effective Date: August 17, 2026. This policy explains how MyTrade Academy handles account, learning, support, analytics, and subscription-related information.
1. Information we collect
When you create or use an account, we may store information needed for authentication and service delivery, including your email address, display name, password hash, verification status, session and security records, course progress, quiz answers, review records, and related learning events.
Before sign-in, we may set a first-party HttpOnly mt_anonymous_id cookie for up to 180 days and record limited lifecycle events such as the public page entered, referring host, public quiz interaction and score, and Pro-plan interest. If you register, that identifier may be linked to your account to measure activation and learning funnels. It is not used for third-party advertising.
If you contact support, we may retain your message, account email, technical details, and information reasonably required to investigate account, access, subscription, cancellation, or refund requests.
2. PayPal and payment information
PayPal processes subscription approval and payment credentials on PayPal-controlled systems. MyTrade Academy does not request or store your PayPal password, full card number, bank-account number, or card security code.
PayPal may provide subscription or transaction identifiers, payment status, amount, currency, payer contact information, and related records needed to confirm access, investigate billing, prevent fraud, process cancellation or refund requests, and maintain accounting or legal records. PayPal handles information under its own privacy terms.
3. How information is used
We use information to authenticate users, deliver digital courses, sync progress, administer subscriptions and access, respond to support requests, secure the service, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, and send requested security, access, billing, or other transactional messages.
4. Sharing and sale of personal data
We do not sell personal data. Information may be shared with service providers that support authentication, hosting, email, security, analytics, customer support, and payment processing, only as reasonably necessary for those services or as required by law.
5. Retention and user controls
Account, learning, support, subscription, and security records are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, maintain required records, and meet legal obligations. Available account tools may allow export or deletion requests; some transaction, security, and legal records may require limited continued retention.
Account deletion removes product-event records linked to your account. Earlier public events that remain anonymous are not directly identifiable after the linking registration event is removed. You may clear the first-party anonymous cookie through your browser settings without losing access to public content.
6. Security and sensitive data
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Do not send passwords, card numbers, bank information, or other sensitive payment credentials through support messages or site forms.
7. Contact
