You don't learn to trade by watching. You learn by deciding.
Courses explain what a breakout or a stop-loss is. Then you open a real chart and have no idea what to do next. We train the part in between.

What is MyTrade Academy?
MyTrade Academy is an online trading education platform where beginners learn by making decisions instead of watching lessons. Each lesson places you in a realistic market situation — a chart, a price screen, a headline or a trading plan — and asks what you would do and why. You get feedback on your reasoning right away, and ideas you struggled with come back later in new situations until you can handle them on your own. Lessons mix short videos, podcast-style talks, music videos, market replays and hands-on exercises on charts, order books and trading plans. It is education only: no real money, no broker connection and no trading signals.
Knowing the words is not the same as knowing what to do.
- What most people think
If I watch enough videos, I'll know what to do.
What actually happensVideos make you feel fluent. Then a live chart moves and all you have is your own judgment — which has never been practiced once.
- What most people think
Once I understand something, I'll remember it.
What actually happensUnderstanding fades within days. And recalling an idea in a tidy lesson is not the same as spotting it in a messy market — those are two different skills.
- What most people think
Good traders always have a position on.
What actually happensOften the right move is to wait, go smaller, or stay out. Most courses never let you practice saying no — so the first time you try is with real money.
Every lesson: understand it, spot it, use it.
Think of driving lessons. First the instructor explains the junction. Next time, they ask what you see. Then they just let you drive. Each lesson follows one market story through the same three steps — and Mira, your study buddy and mentor, says a little less at every one.
- Understand it
See why it happens
A short video, a podcast-style talk or a song explains the idea — or you get a real market screen and work out the pattern yourself. Each one is built to break a common wrong instinct. Nothing is scored here; it's for exploring.
- Spot it
Find it in a real situation
The same story continues with what traders actually look at: a price screen, an order book, a chart, a news feed, a group chat. Pick out the evidence that matters, then draw your conclusion. Get it wrong and Mira only points to where to look.
- Use it
Make the call
Now you have a trading plan and something new just happened. Decide what to do and pick the reason why. Mira only asks what you'll do. Waiting can be the right answer, and you're graded on your reasoning, not on what the price did next.
- Keep it
Meet it again, without help
Days later, the idea returns in a situation you haven't seen, with no hints and no warning about what's being tested. Get it right again weeks apart, and it's yours. You also follow the same markets from lesson to lesson, so experience builds the way it does for a real trader.
Each idea, taught the way it's best learned.
Some things you need to see, some you need to hear, and a few you need stuck in your head. Lessons use whichever fits — never a lecture for its own sake.
Short animated videos
For the mechanics you can't see: how an order gets matched, where leverage starts to bite, why a price gaps.
Podcast-style talks
For the mindset: the fear of missing out, holding on to a loser, sticking to a plan when everyone else is shouting.
Music videos
For the handful of rules worth humming — the line you'll still remember in the middle of a trade.
Live market replays
Watch the price move and the group chat light up in real time, then decide what you'd have done.
Practice that looks like the real thing
- Tap the chartMark the support zone, or pick the candle where the trend turned.
- Read the order bookChoose which price levels your order would actually fill at.
- Find the flawSpot the lines in a trading plan or journal that would get you into trouble.
- Sort and sequencePut the steps of a trade in order, or group signals by what they really mean.
- Run the numbersSize a position or estimate a cost — only when the math is the skill.
- Decide and justifyChoose your move, then the reason behind it. Both have to hold up.
Who this is for — and who should look elsewhere.
You'll get the most out of it if
- You know the terms but freeze when a real chart is in front of you.
- You've watched hours of videos and want to actually practice.
- You want to build judgment before you risk your own money.
- You learn better in short, hands-on sessions than in long lectures.
Probably not the right fit if
- You want a free, in-depth textbook to read cover to cover.BabyPips' free course is excellent for that — and pairs well with practicing here.
- You're preparing for a finance career or a credential such as financial modeling.Look at professional programs like CFI or the CFA Institute.
- You want someone to tell you what to buy.We never give signals, and we'd be careful with anyone who promises to.
Common questions
Do I need any trading experience?
No. Lessons start from everyday situations and build up from there. If you already know the basics, you'll move through the early ones quickly and spend your time where your judgment is weakest.
Is any real money involved?
No. Nothing connects to a broker or a bank account. You practice decisions in realistic market situations without risking anything.
How is this different from a quiz at the end of a course?
A quiz checks whether you remember a definition. Here you are placed in a situation and asked what you would do and why. Both the decision and the reasoning count.
Will this make me a profitable trader?
No course can honestly promise that, and we don't. What practice can do is make your decisions clearer and more disciplined — including knowing when not to trade. Trading always carries a real risk of loss.
How much time does it take?
A lesson takes a few minutes. Most people practice a little each day rather than in long sessions, which is also what makes it stick.
Three minutes. One decision. You'll see where you stand.
